How much are the shipping costs and how long does delivery take?
Shipping costs start at €5.99 and vary up to €14.99 depending on the destination country. Shipping within Germany is free for orders over €75, and for other European countries over €150. All orders are shipped insured via DHL, and delivery typically takes 1–3 business days after payment is received. International delivery times may vary; the exact shipping costs and delivery times are displayed in the shopping cart and at checkout. Your order number will be sent to you by email and will also be displayed in the "Orders" section of your profile.
How does the return work if I don’t like the color/texture?
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your yarns.
Important note on color: Please note that color representation may vary across screens and the actual yarn color may slightly differ.
If the color, texture, or feel does not meet your expectations, we offer a 14-day return policy from the date of receipt.
Requirement: The item must be returned unused, undamaged and in its original packaging with all tags attached.

Yes, absolute priority! Our YarnArt and Himalaya yarn stock levels are synchronized in real time with our shop system.
This means that what you see as available online is truly in stock in our warehouse. We also place great importance on continuous restocking and fast replenishment of our bestsellers to avoid shortages. In the very rare event of a system error causing a discrepancy, we will notify you within 24 hours and immediately offer an alternative or a refund.
How do I find the right needle size for a specific yarn?
The recommended needle size can always be found on the label of each yarn and in the detailed product description in our online shop. Please note that the ideal needle size also depends on your personal gauge swatch and the type of project (tight or loose). We recommend knitting or crocheting a small swatch before you start.
How do I properly care for different fiber types (e.g., merino wool, acrylic)?
You can find detailed care instructions on the label of each yarn and in the product description. In general: wool (e.g. merino) should be washed only cold or lukewarm, ideally using the wool cycle. Acrylic and blended yarns are often machine-washable at 30 °C. Always avoid high heat and tumble drying to prevent fiber shrinkage.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
A change or cancellation is only possible as long as your order has not yet been processed and packed. Since we ship very quickly, please contact us immediately after placing your order (within the first hour) via email or phone. Once the goods have been packed or handed over to DHL, only a regular return is possible.
How can I delete my customer account at MoonWool?
You have the right to delete your customer account and all associated personal data at any time. Please send an informal email to our customer service with the subject “Account Deletion”. We will process the deletion as soon as possible in accordance with GDPR and notify you once it’s completed.
How can I save my cart to continue shopping later?
As long as you are logged into your customer account, your shopping cart will be saved automatically. When you log in again on another device or later, you’ll find your selected yarns there. If you make a purchase without logging in, the cart is usually stored in the browser only for a limited time.
When and how will I receive my refund (money back)?
The refund will be processed within 7–14 business days after your return has been received and inspected. The refund will be issued automatically via the original payment method (e.g. to your PayPal account or the credit card used). You will be notified by email once the refund has been processed.
